  My children, Cole and Logan Layman, have been students of the Academy since we moved to the area four years ago. I have enjoyed watching grow and flourish under the tutelage of Ron Lowder Jr. They have met many like-minded kids their age and formed friendships that will last a lifetime. The academy is more than a fun learning atmosphere and creative space for them to hone their music skills, it has become an extension of our family.

  My son worked with the Academy of Rock Music for a number of years and had a great time and learned a lot. The Academy also helped him prepare for applying to music schools and he was early accepted at Berklee College of Music in Boston! I also have participated in the adult bands and have met some great musicians from beginners to very experienced and we all have worked together to learn to play as a band. A fantastic experience for any age or experience level!

  I have watched my son become a rock star! AORM has provided the education and environment for my son to excel in guitar. Ron's hands on teaching and encouragement makes the whole learning experience fun and practical. The end of semester gigs showcase all the bands and puts your child front and center on stage to show the skills they have learned. I would highly recommend AORM to anyone who has a child interested in music or joining a band.
